The Dubrovnik airport is situated in Čilipi 20 km south of the city centre, getting from the airport to the city centre is possible by the following means of transportation.

Airport bus: Dubrovnik Airport is connected to the city with a shuttle bus operated by Autotrans Arriva bus company. Ticket can be bought at the airport or at the bus station in Dubrovnik or online. 

  • The bus departs from Dubrovnik Bus Station in Gruž port and it stops at cable car stop to Srdj on its way to the airport.
  • The price of one-way ticket is 45kn.
  • There are 8 daily departures and buses provide free Wi-Fi and luggage transportation.

Local Bus: The following local buses line drive to and from the airport.

  • Line Nr. 11, Dubrovnik to Molunat
  • Line Nr. 27, Dubrovnik to Vitaljina
  • Line Nr. 31 Vitaljina to Cavtat
  • Line Nr. 38, Dubrovnik to Gruda

Transfer: If you are not up for hassling with luggage in Dubrovnik, but which to be taking directly to your accommodation, you can pre-book at transfer to any address in Dubrovnik and of course also to other destinations, the price for a pre-booked transfer to Dubrovnik is 32 Euro. Q: Where can I find the schedule for buses from Dubrovnik airport to Herceg Novi, Kotor, Budva, Tivat and other towns in Montenegro?

A: Nowhere, from the airport there is only bus to Dubrovnik.

Q: What is the easiest way to travel from Dubrovnik airport to Montenegro?

A: The easiest way is to pre-book a transfer from the airport to your destination town in Montenegro, this might be a bit pricy, but it is way faster. If you wish to travel by the bus you first have to take the airport bus to Dubrovnik main bus station (which is 20 km in the opposite direction) and then catch a bus from there to Herceg Novi, Kotor, Budva, Tivat or Podgorica.

Q: When coming from Montenegro with bus can I get off by the airport?

A: None of the buses travelling between Montenegro and Dubrovnik have a scheduled stop by the airport, but as they pass by on the main road, you might be able to convince the driver, but be aware, that stopping there could give him problems, so he is in his good right to decline.

A: Yes, no worries, the airport bus run in connection with any flight, no matter when it arrives.

A: Yes, there are two airport exchange offices, one at Departure Hall, and other at Arrivals Hall. However, make sure to change your money on time because the offices are not opened 24/7:
