Calgary Airport, which is located about 16 km from downtown Calgary, is the 4th largest of Canadian airports, the airport serves as a hub for WestJet and Air Canada. In total there are more than 20 airlines operating flights to and from the airport.

The majority of flights from the airport are domestic, with Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto as the 3 most frequent destinations.

The airport also has a substantial number of international departures with the US being the number one Int. destination.

Edmonton International Airport – IATA Code – YEG (~ 8 M passengers)

Edmonton Airport is located by Leduc city about 27 km south of Edmonton downtown.

About 20 airlines operate flights to and from the airport, the majority of flights are to domestic destinations.

The international network includes flights to US cities, several seasonal destinations in the Caribbean cities as well as a few European cities.

The airport is well connected to downtown Edmonton by various shuttle services, and also has bus connections to other cities like Lake Deer and Calgary.

Fort McMurray International Airport – IATA Code – YMM ( ~ 0.6 M passengers)

The airport is located 16 km southeast of Fort McMurray, the airport currently only serves as a domestic airport with scheduled flights to Calgary, Edmonton and Fort Chipewyan.

These flights are operated by the following airlines Air Canada, Air Canada Express, McMurray Aviation, Northwestern Air and WestJet Encore.
