Yukon Territory currently has only 5 airports with scheduled commercial flights. Combined, these 5 airports handle less than a million passengers per year, of which the half is done by Eric Nielsen airport. Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport – IATA code: YXY  (~ 0.4 M passengers)

The Whitehorse airport is the largest airport in Yukon in terms of passenger numbers. The airport which is located 5 km west of the Whitehorse center, has flights to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and a few other domestic destinations year round. During summer season there is additional departures from the airport. The following airlines operated scheduled flights from Whitehorse airport: Air North, Air Canada, Air Canada Express, Condor, WestJet.
