Newark Metropolitan Airport is the largest one in New Jersey and one of the busiest US airports at the East Coast. It is located between Newark city and Elizabeth city. More specifically, the distance to Newark is about 5 km and to Elizabeth 4 km. Nearby NYC’s Manhattan Borough is some 15 kilometers away. There are about 50 carriers at EWR airport, and United Airlines has the airport as its third-largest hub. British Airways and Virgin also have a significant number of daily flights. Getting to and from the airport is possible by a variety of options. AirTrain, NJ Public Transit, shuttles, taxis and limos are all at disposal. Therefore, Newark Airport can be a handy substitute for other NYC airports nearby.

Atlantic City International Airport – IATA Code – ACY (~ 1.2 M Passengers)

Atlantic City Airport is the second busiest NJ airport, and a primary choice for anyone traveling to a resort Atlantic City. Distance from the airport to the city is about 16 km. To get there, passengers can option for NJ Public Transit, airport shuttles and taxis. Spirit Airlines is currently the only carrier operating at the airport. Nevertheless, the airport handles more than a million passengers each year. ACY airport is a common choice when traveling to other cities at New Jersey’s Atlantic coast.
