Cancun Airport (CUN) is an international airport serving Cancun, one of the most visited tourist resorts in Mexico. The airport is located on the Caribbean coast, about 18 km from Cancun city centre and it consists of four terminals. How to get from Cancun Airport to Cancun

Bus

There is a regular bus service operating at the airport by the company ADO. These buses take you to Cancun downtown, as well as several other destinations.

Each of the four terminals has a bus station just outside the terminal building. You can check your flight ticket in order to find out at which terminal your airline arrives. The first bus departure is at 08:15 am and the last one is at 11:45 pm. The journey of the bus takes around 35 minutes and the ticket costs around €5

You can also travel by bus directly from the airport to some other destinations such as Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Merida. Again, check your plane ticket to see where your airline lands. Buses usually depart from morning hours to evening hours.

Tickets start from around €6 for Puerto Morelos to around €37 for Merida.

NOTE: These buses are direct and there are no luggage restrictions.

Taxi

There is only an official airport taxi service allowed to transport passengers, but you have to order them in advance.
