Zakynthos International Airport (ZTH), also called ‘’Dyonisios Solomos’’ is located on the Greek island Zakynthos, close to the town and beach of Kalamaki. That is halfway between the famous Bay of Laganas and Zakynthos Town or Zante (around 4 kilometers away).

How to get from Zakynthos Airport to Zakynthos Town (Zante)

Public bus

There is a public bus service that connects the airport with the rest of the island, including Zakynthos Town. The bus departs daily from 6:30 to 22:30 (except on Sundays).

The bus stop is located in front of the main terminal and you can purchase tickets directly from the bus driver.

To get to the most popular destination on the island – Bay of Laganas, a nightlife area that attracts all party animals, there’s no direct bus route from the airport but there is a connection between Zakynthos Town and Laganas.

Taxi

Taxi service is available 24/7 and you can easily find them outside the terminal. The journey from the airport to the city of Zakynthos takes around 15 minutes and the price is around €10, but we suggest you always check the price with the driver before the ride.
