Getting from Mendoza Airport to Mendoza

The distance between MDZ and the city is about 10 kilometres which is approximately a 20-minute ride. If heading to Mendoza after you land, you can choose between several means of transportation.

Technically, bus lines 675 and 680 can take you from the airport to Mendoza city centre. However, this isn’t convenient because to board the public buses you cannot pay in cash. Instead, you need a local Mendoza card, which you only buy in the city. You could, maybe, ask a local to pay for you in exchange for money.

Bus line 680 operates from midnight up until 9:30 pm, and line 675 from midnight until 8:00 pm.

There are taxis available at the airport and the trip to the city center will cost you approx. 10 USD. However, there are taxis that have a fixed rate and are called remis, for which you need to buy a ticket inside the terminal, at their kiosk.

Booking a private transfer from Mendoza Airport to the cities is a good option. Pre-booking a transfer ensures that a professional driver will welcome you upon arrival and take you directly to your accommodation.

Car hire

Car rental is available at the airport. Several major companies – such as Alamo, Europcar and Avis – offer their services. However, renting a car online is a good idea for avoiding long queues.
