Tips for the Departure From Split Port

When travelling to Bol town from Split, you should know the following:

1. The fast ferries operated by Krilo Naranca and Jadrolinija depart from Berth 6 or 7 (Gat sv. Nikole is the name of the pier), which are the ones closest to the Riva Promenade (Riva Split Waterfront), right next to Harbour Master’s Office Split. The Catamaran from Krilo Kapetan Luka, departs from berth 11 or 12 which is on pier Gat sv. Petra.

2. If you arrive at the bus or train station and need to catch the ferry, cross the street and take a right turn to walk to your ferry. 3. If you arrive by Uber or Bolt you should select “Gat sv Petra, Split” as your destination. You will be dropped off in front of the announcement board, where you can see from which pier your ferry departs.

4. If you wish to catch a window seat, be at the correct berth 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. I’d suggest you grab a seat on the left side, if you can. You’ll be able to get a picturesque view of the island’s coast.

5. There are plenty of coffee bars, places to grab some food and shops by the port, since the location is right in the city centre. Also, there are several options for storing your luggage near the port.
