Buses Medjugorje
Medjugorje is a well-known Catholic centre located in Hercegovina, 25 km from Mostar. It became known after the apparition of the Virgin Mary in 1981; since then it has become, along with Sarajevo, the most visited tourist centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bus station
Medjugorje bus station is located in the centre, next to the post office. There are three platforms at the bus station, four taxi stands and a big parking space.
Intercity transport
Medjugorje is by bus well connected with other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the companies offering bus service from Medjugorje is Globtour.

Airport transport
There is no airport in Medjugorje; the closest one is 20 km away, in Mostar. From Mostar airport, you can take a taxi or a bus (nr 28 and 29) to get to Mostar. Once you get to the main bus station in Mostar you can take a city bus which goes to Medjugorje or you can take the suburban line number 48 which leaves every 45 to 60 minutes, also from the main bus station.
Bus rental
