Buses Budva

Budva is one of the known tourist cities in Montenegro situated on the coast. It has a rich history, numerous beaches and a rich nightlife offer.

Public transport

Public transport in Budva is organized by Mediteran Express. All the buses have the same departure point on Mediteranska street, at the city centre roundabout. The main bus line runs within the city and from the city to the Saint Stephen island and the cities between Budva and the island. Lines which run to the island and Petrovac run frequently all year round; their first departure is 06:00 and the last one at 01:30. The number of depatures is increased in the summer months. Bus station

The bus station oin Budva is located in the very centre, between the Fire House and the Medical Centre. The address of the bus station is Popa Jole Zeca bb; here you can see the exact map location.

Intercity transport

Budva is well connected with other cities along the coast by the Adriatic road which goes from Ulcinj in the south to Herceg Novi in the north. There are frequent lines to and from Herceg Novi, Kotor, Bar and Ulcinj as well as the cities in the hinterland, Cetinje and Podgorica.

International transport

Budva is relatively well connected with the cities in the region; the number of lines increases during summer months.

Airport transport

There are two national airports in Montenegro: Tivat (TIV) which is 20 km from Budva and 4 km from Tivat city. Podgorica Airport (TGD) is 60 km from Budva and 12 km from Podgorica. There are no direct buses from the airports to Podgorica and Tivat so the option is to take a taxi to the main bus station from where you can continue by bus to Budva.
