Rotterdam The Hague Airport – FAQs

I arrive late at the airport. Will it be a problem for me to get to the city?

Though buses are very frequent throughout the day, they’re not operating from 0:30 to 05:49, so you will probably have to get yourself a taxi, so make sure you have enough money on you because the prices are high.

I have an early morning departure from the airport, are there any airport hotels I can stay at?

Yes, of course. You can stay overnight in one of these two hotels located in the airport area:
Worldhotel Wings (4*) – free WiFi, laundry service, restaurant and bar
Best Western Plus Rotterdam Airport Hotel (4*) – free WiFi, free parking, laundry service and access for the disabled

I would like to visit Rotterdam/The Hague in between flights. Is that possible?

Sure it is, bus line 33 runs every 10-15 minutes to the city centre, but make sure you catch the last bus from Rotterdam which leaves at 00:10. Leave your luggage in one of the lockers at the airport, located in the Transit and the Central Halls.

Can I exchange money at the airport to pay for my transfer?

There are a couple of ATMs located at the airport, but unfortunately there is no bank or exchange office, so we advise you to definitely have euros on you before your flight.

I am continuing my journey outside Rotterdam/The Hague. Are there any direct lines to other destinations?

It would be better to reach the centre of Rotterdam first and plan your further trips from there. Here are some of the most popular destinations: Rotterdam – Eindhoven, Rotterdam – Groningen, The Hague – Nijmegen, The Hague – Utrecht. Or find one yourself on getbybus.com.
