Juanda International Airport, also known as Surabaya Airport, is the third busiest airport in Indonesia after Jakarta and Bali. It is situated in the Sedati district in Sidoarjo. Moreover, the airport is 12 kilometers away from the Surabaya city center and serves the metropolitan area of Surabaya, East Java. Getting from Surabaya Airport to Surabaya

Airport Bus
There is a public bus service called DAMRI that offers transportation from Surabaya Airport to the city center, and the outskirts of Surabaya. They operate every hour. Moreover, Terminal 1 has two bus stops, while Terminal 2 has one. However, since the terminals are not within walking distance of each other, there is a free shuttle bus that operates between the terminals.
Moreover, to get to the Surabaya city center, which is around the Tunjungan Plaza, it is best to take bus number 2 which goes all the way to Tanjung Perak Station (the ticket costs 25,000 IDR). The 20-kilometer-long trip lasts 50 minutes. The tickets can be purchased from the bus driver.
Moreover, there is also bus number 3 that goes to Bunder Gresik Station ( the ticket costs 40,000 IDR), while bus number 1 goes to Purabaya/Bungurasih Station (the ticket costs 25,000 IDR). The trip lasts 30 minutes and you have the option to transfer by bus to cities like Malang or Probolinggo.

There are around 14 taxi companies available at the airport. Taxi tickets can be purchased at the taxi booths situated outside the Arrivals area of both terminals, after the baggage claim. A trip to the city center may cost 120,000 Rp.
