Neuquen Airport, also known as Presidente Perón International Airport (NQN), is an airport serving several cities: Neuquén, Cipolletti, Plottier, Centenario, and General Roca. It is located on the west side of the city of Neuquén, Argentina. The airport has one terminal and it handles mainly domestic flights as well as some international flights to Chile.

Getting from Neuquen Airport to Neuquen

City bus

There is a bus stop approximately 350 meters from the airport. The bus company is called Indalo and the buses depart from the airport every 30-35 minutes. The ride from the Neuquen airport to the Neuquen city center takes about 20 minutes. 

NOTE: Tickets cannot be purchased with cash once you are on the bus. In order to purchase a bus ticket, first, you need to get a reloadable card called the SUBE card. You can buy the SUBE card at kiosks, lottery shops, train and subway stations.

Intercity bus

The intercity bus is operated by Ko-Ko company and it stops on route 22. It departs approximately every 20 minutes.

NOTE: To ride the intercity bus, first you need to get a Ko-Ko card.

Taxi

Getting a taxi from NQN to Neuquen is possibly the best option and the quickest one. Taxis are located just outside the Arrivals Hall Departure (west sector).

There are two kinds, the regular taxis and the remises, the “nicer ones”. You can get a regular taxi at any point and the ride will cost approximately $ 5. If you want to get a remis, you might want to book in advance and keep in mind that a ride with remis will cost you a bit more than a regular taxi service.
