Germany is one of the most visited countries within the Erasmus program. Students who opt for such an experience can choose between more than 60 German destinations. However, the most popular universities include the Technical University of Munich, University of Münster and Humboldt University of Berlin. According to the latest data in 2019, 34 750 students experienced studying in Germany through hundreds of projects in higher education. There are so many reasons why Germany attracts international students, but all of them point to the fact that it’s totally worth it.  

Why study in Germany?

According to Wohnung, we calculated that the average rent price per square meter ranges between €8-€10. Therefore, everything outside the range is classified either above or below average with indicated average rent price per square meter.
