Bodo Airport Bus
Bodo Airport (BOO) is a civil airport in the town of Bodo in Norway. It is located approximately 1.9 kilometers south of the city centre. The airport has just one terminal. Aside from jet operations to major domestic destinations, the airport also serves as a hub for regional flights to Helgeland, Lofoten and Vesterålen. Bodo Airport provides non-stop flights to various destinations such as Oslo, Trondheim, Leknes and Gdansk. The airport serves approximately 1,700,000 passengers per year.
How to get from Bodo Airport to Bodo
Public bus
Buses number 1 and 4 stop at the main entrance of the airport. On weekdays, the buses operate from 5:40 AM to 00:00 AM. From 5:40 AM till 6:10 PM they depart every 15 minutes. Travel time to the city center is only about 5 minutes.
The tickets can be bought on the bus and the prices vary depending on the number of zones you’re travelling through and children, as well as seniors, get a discount.
Taxi
If you prefer a more comfortable transfer, we recommend taking a taxi. It usually takes around 5 minutes by car to get from the airport to the centre of Bodo. The taxi stand is located in front of the main entrance of the airport. Nordland Taxis have a surveillance camera installed in order to check for queues outside the terminal.
The price from the airport to the city centre of Bodo is approximately 9 €.
NOTE: Boarding passengers are charged approximately 2 € extra for covering the costs of the taxi area at the airport.
