Airports in Montana
Montana is a western state on the border with Canada. Currently, there are only small hub airports located in this state. Majority of traffic is done at Bozeman Airport, which handles about 2 million passengers per year. The other significant airport in Montana is Billings Logan Airport. Remaining Montana airports offer regional flights via airlines like Alaska Airlines, Delta and United. In this post we’ve also included some GA (general aviation) airports which have some scheduled flights, although with really small passenger numbers. Map of all airports in Montana can be found at the end of the text.
List of airports
Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport – IATA Code – BZN (~ 1.5 M Passengers)

Most flights from and to the airport are seasonal, with Denver and Minneapolis being the most connected cities. As for the airlines, Delta and United hold the majority of air traffic. Transport options from the airport include buses and shuttles, taxis and car rentals.
Billings Logan International Airport – IATA Code – BIL (~ 0.9 M Passengers)
Billings Logan Airport is the second largest Montana airport, although classified as a small-hub among US airports. It serves Yellowstone County and it’s located 3.5 km from Billings center. Cape Air, Alaska and Delta all have regular flights from the airport. Similarly to Bozeman Airport, BIL airport’s top destination is also Denver.
