The Whitehorse airport is the largest airport in Yukon in terms of passenger numbers. The airport which is located 5 km west of the Whitehorse center, has flights to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and a few other domestic destinations year round. During summer season there is additional departures from the airport.
