On time departure and arrival. Plenty of stops to stretch legs or take drink/snack. Friendly driver/conductor.
One time there was heavy braking which woke people up and some had a big shock, but I’m not sure if it was the driver’s fault or another vehicle because I was sleeping. It woke me up suddenly.

Nothing.
Bus was extremely late., Over 30 minutes leaving us in the pouring rain. For a 2 hour bus journey this wasn't acceptable. It also made various stops for what seemed no reason as no passengers left or got on the bus. Driver was rude and unapologetic for the time delay and the bus had reached full capacity meaning 1 or two people didn't have seats deeming it unsafe and probably illegal to drive. Seats were uncomfortable and had little legroom, especially when the passenger in front constantly started leaning back their chair with little consideration for others. As said before, bus stopped in various points and we were not told why. Despite this, we did make it to the destination of Zagreb bus terminal only 15 minutes after said arrival time. Either be on time or update your timetable. We had planned a day out to Plitvice Lakes that could have been extended and not wasted standing in the rain for a ridiculously long time.

I lost 11€ because the driver told me that my bus was the next bus after i showed him my ticket. This was due to a confusing ticket layout where it said my final destination in bold, but only showed my bus change stop really small and in a weird location of the ticket. Due to the drivers mistake I missed my bus and lost 11.5€ .

About

Arriva (former Autotrans) is the leading scheduled  coach service operator in western and coastal Croatia and a member of the international corporation Arriva by Deutsche Bahn, present in 14 European countries.

With frequent and regular bus lines, Autotrans connects about 1,000s of destinations across Croatia, from Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Pula and Osijek, all the way to the smallest and most remote Croatian towns in Kvarner, Istria, Lika, Dalmatia and on the islands of Krk, Rab, Pag, Cres, Lošinj, Brač, Korčula and Lastovo. During the summer season, Arriva also maintains daily transfers to Dubrovnik airport from Dubrovnik.

Besides domestic bus routes Arriva offers excellent connections to numerous international destinations, such as those in Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

As a part of the Arriva group, through its own travel agency Arriva travel, Autotrans offers sale of tickets and transport to festivals, concerts, matches, excursions and booking of accommodation in hotels, hostels and apartments and coach rental.

How to recognize an Arriva Autotrans bus?

Considering that rebranding is in progress, Autotrans white-colored buses with the logo in green and orange color on the sides of the buses are being changed to white buses with the Arriva logo in blue or blue buses with the Arriva logo in white color. The fleet of Autotrans is among the newer ones in Croatia, which means high quality and offer transportation with modern, comfortable and air-conditioned buses, with free WiFi service and outlets for charging electronic devices.
