Pros and Cons...
We loved how different and relaxing it was from flying to place to place. It was nice not having to deal with airport security, having to go through Customs, being worried about checking our bags, paying a lot to do that or having to find transportation from the airport to city center. We also liked being able to see the countryside, as it felt like the time onboard the bus flew by! Lastly, I liked that the FILS bus driver didn’t leave without us in Venice and that he contacted Get By Bus to try and locate us. After witnessing several other bus lines in Venice, I don’t believe some of the other bus companies would have done the same thing....We got to what we thought was the bus stop/pick-up area over an hour early, but still almost missed the bus! We weren’t able to determine the correct pick-up spot in Venice-Mestre. Even after looking at the provided maps and speaking to locals. To be honest, even now, we are still unclear as to where “exactly” the stop is located in Mestre. As, the area is NOT clearly marked with a FILS sign like it is with Flexbus or the other bus companies. We also were not expecting our bus to be a mini-bus! So, we probably didn’t see it when it showed up at 11:20 AM. We had been looking for a large, charter-style bus. So glad the bus driver contacted Get By Bus though to locate us. Before that, we had been thinking we were going to have to re-book our trip to Pula with a different bus line. Based on that, I would say the FILS bus company (or Get By Bus) needs to do a better job notifying the passenger of the bus type and making sure the pick-up area is “clearly” marked to avoid confusion.

there were not enough seats. So despite having a valid ticket, I had to sit on the floor.

...They were late in Venice and we had to call the company to make sure that the bus will arrive, because we did not have nobody to ask at the station. By the way it is only a regular city bus stop and no station that seems to be in middle on nowhere (even the personal from the Hostel near by did not know anything about this bus).
