I don't reccommend

I booked my bus tickets from another platform for the bus of this company from Vienna to Bern, Switzerland. The bus was supposed to leave 23.10. at midnight from the Erdberg station. Unfortunately, I found out there was not this route marked in the information board where there are all the buses scheduled. There were maybe 2 buses with Union Ivkoni company but it was in the morning to different countries, mine was not there at all. I tried to call the Union Ivkoni help desk number but they didn't reply, then I tried to call the Kiwi number - also no reply, I called the number of the bus station - no reply. I understand that the call centres may not work 24/7 and it was already night. But I am not from Vienna and as a customer alone in a different country waiting for the bus which may or may not exist I needed to get information ASAP somehow! The Union Ivkoni has more phone numbers so I called all of them several times. Sometimes they are picking up, sometimes not and when I finally got in touch with a man in the call centre I explained my trouble. I needed to know if the bus really goes, from which platform - since it was supposed to be stated on the schedule board, and what time it comes as an assurance. The man said it goes from Erdberg station, I patiently explained my trouble again - I know the station, I am standing there, I just need a piece of information about the platform. The reply was: "Thank you for contacting us, goodbye." What do you think how was I supposed to feel at cold night alone in Vienna station with zero information and this approach? After this phone call, I called 5 more times within 1 hour of waiting. It was already midnight and the bus didn't arrive. Then a man picked me, still, calmly I explained my problem (again), he stayed totally quiet, I thought he was looking for the information and then he just closed the call telling me nothing. This time not even thank you goodbye, he just closed it, that was not too professional. The bus, in the end, arrived at around 2 am so it was 2hrs late. I am very respectful so a delay would be absolutely okay for me if I was informed but I received zero information and a very unfriendly approach. I finally got into the bus where nearly nobody wears a face mask and after several hours of journey, our bus stopped getting broken. We were waiting in the gas station on a highway for about 8 hours without any progress waiting for service to arrive, which was obviously hard to manage on Sunday. Once again - I would be very patient, things like this happen and especially the bus drivers were very nice but we were missing information and quick problem-solving. Many companies in such cases send another bus to pick the passengers or simply offer other options such as financial compensation. With this company, it was very obvious they are trying to save as much money as possible so the only compensation we received was a sandwich from the station. Ridiculous. I was travelling for work, obligated to attend an international conference in Switzerland and I arrived to Bern 12 hours later than I was supposed to, which caused further negative effects for my work, I missed the last local transport within the city to take me to my accommodation and had to communicate those issues to the country responsibles of my work organisation....- poor information - poor reliability - poor problem solving - late arrivals and departures - poor customer orientation - saving too much not on right places
