Sea Star Festival

For many of you who are already familiar with the EXIT festival held in Novi Sad, Serbia each year, there is a special treat coming. The EXIT team is coming to the Croatia’s biggest peninsula this summer! The successful team which stands behind the awards for best European festivals is organizing another one, the new Sea Star Festival, which will host more than 70 performers on 6 stages in the tourist complex of Stella Maris in Umag on May 26th and 27th.

This new star on the festival sky will present some of the most important names of both the world and regional music scene, and, as if that wasn’t enough, visitors of the Stella Maris tourist complex will have the opportunity to enjoy in a great warm-up party on Thursday, May 25th, as well as the afterparty for the toughest ones on Sunday, May 27th.

The festival has its origins in the first Sea Dance Festival organized in Budva in 2014, followed by the Revolution Festival in Timisoara the next year. The two festivals were very successful, so much that the Sea Dance was declared the Best European Festival with up to 40 000 visitors a day.

Entrance fees: A daily ticket costs 199KN (27€), while you can get the ticket for both days of the festival at the price of 299KN (40€). You can buy the tickets online.

Accommodation: Sea Star organization team has found hotels, rooms, apartments, villas and camps for the visitors of the festivals, and you can compare their prices and offers by clicking on the link above.

How to get there: The team took care of everything, so you can see the ways of reaching the festival from the closest airports as well. You can choose among the Pula airport (Croatia), Trieste airport (Ronchi), Ljubljana airport, Zagreb (Pleso) airport, Venice (Treviso) airport or Venice (Marco Polo) airport. To/From all mentioned surrounding airports you can get an official SEA STAR coach to Stella Maris resort (Umag). The bus takes 1.15 hours from Pula airport, 1.45 hours from Trieste airport, 2 hours from Ljubljana airport, 3.30 hours from Zagreb airport, 3.30 hours from Venice (Marco Polo) airport and 3 hours from Venice (Treviso) airport.
