Wrocław-Copernicus Airport is an international airport located in southwestern Poland, 13 kilometers west from Wrocław city center. The German name of the city is Breslau which was formerly one of the largest cities of the German Empire. Today it serves as a focus city for Enter Air, Ryanair and Wizzair. In the last decade, the airport has recorded a rapid increase of passengers, and in 2017 it handled more than 2.8 million passengers. There are several ways to get to and from the airport.

The station in the center is called ‘’Plac Dominikański’’ and the one next to the Central Bus and Railway Station is called ‘’Dworzec Wrocław’’. The bus departs every 50 minutes with a pause between 1:00 and 4:10 am, and the journey takes around 30 minutes. You can buy the ticket directly from the driver or at the 24h International Travel Desk, and the ticket in both cases costs 10zł (~2€).
Local bus: Besides the shuttle bus, the airport is well connected via public transport, and there are two bus lines which take you to the parts of Wrocław.

Make sure you always ask about the price of your desired destination before you get in the taxi. The journey to the center takes approximately 20 minutes, and some of the companies operating at Wrocław airport are Domino Taxi, MTP, Radio Taxi etc.
Transfer: If you don’t like using the public transport and hesitate to take a taxi, consider booking a private transfer which will wait for you on the airport and take you to your destination. The transfer company will send a professional driver to pick you up. You can even pre-order a child safety seat if you’re travelling with a child.
Renting a car at Wrocław airport: For those who would prefer to reach the city and explore the area on their own, the best option is to rent a car directly at the airport. At Wrocław airport you can choose between some of the most popular renting agencies such as Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, Budget etc. Car rental desks can be found in the arrival hall, and car rental parks are located in the front of the terminal.
