    • Melani   •

      Dear Sarah,

There’s no need to book a hotel at the airport for that evening as there will be plenty of time left for you to catch the bus to Trieste. The last bus to Trieste departs at 23:30 from the airport.

Hi. I will be arriving at Trieste Airport at 15:25 on Saturday the 18th of Jan 2020 on a visit to Rovinj.
The bus for Rovinj leaves Trieste City at 17:45. I can’t read the time table, as I don’t speak Italian. Can you tell me if there’s a bus that will get me from Trieste Airport to the Bus Station in Trieste for that time? (Is there a link to a timetable in English?) Thank you in advance.

    • Melani   •

      Dear Steven,

For now there’s only available timetable for the summer 2019 so there might be some changes in departure times during winter period. However, according to the current timetable, buses leave every half hour, so I don’t think the frequency of departures will change, probably the departure of the last bus might be earlier than usual.

      Best regards

Arrive Trieste Airport Saturday evening 20.20.
what is the best way to get to downtown Monfalone
    Thanks Kevin

    • Marija Štrljić   •

      Hi Kevin,

your best transportation options are taxi, airport shuttle, or public transportation. Taxis are available at the airport, but are more expensive. Airport shuttle services may operate and are more budget-friendly. Alternatively, you can use public transportation by taking a bus from the airport to Trieste’s train station or bus terminal and then continuing to Monfalcone by train or bus.

      Best,
      GBB Team

      Hi Marguerite,

consider options like buses, car rentals, taxis, shared shuttles, or a combination of train and bus. Check local transportation services or online platforms for schedules, availability, and prices.
