Local bus

To reach the  center of the city and vice versa, take a city bus line (Line EA). The bus stop is at the terminal and tickets can be bought directly from the driver. The journey takes about 30 minutes. The price of one-way ticket is 4 (6€ return). The first bus departs at 4:30 from Plaza de Armas and the last one at 0:15 from the airport every day.

Train

The best way to get to the train station Santa Justa (located in the centre) is by taking previously mentioned line EA which passess by the train station.

Taxi services

The taxi drivers always wait outside the terminal, and the journey to the city usually costs 20-25, but be careful and negotiate the price in advance because they might overcharge the ride.

Transfer

The safer option than a taxi service is booking the door-to-door transfer, especially if you’re carrying a lot of luggage. The driver will wait for you in the Arrivals area with your name sign. Don’t worry if your plane is late, the company monitors your flight arrival.

Seville Airport FAQs

I arrive late at the airport. Will it be a problem for me to get to the city?

No, the local bus line (Especial Aeropuerto) is very frequent (approx. every half an hour) The last one departs from the airport at 0:15, but in case you missed them all, you can always call an official airport taxi which operates 24/7.

I have an early morning departure from the airport, are there any airport hotels I can stay at?

The nearest hotel is 6 kilometres from the airport – Hotel Sevilla Congresos (4*) – free Wi-Fi, outdoor pool. However, the airport itself is not too far from the city centre, only 10 km.

I would like to spend one day in Seville in between flights. Is that possible?

Yes, of course. The best way to do so is to take the local bus which will take you directly from the airport to the city centre. Unfortunately, there is no luggage storage facilities at the airport but you can leave your stuff at Plaza de Armas station for 5€/day.

I am continuing my journey outside Seville. Are there any cheap bus lines from the airport to other cities?

There are no direct lines from the airport but it is possible to take a bus to other cities once you get to Plaza de Armas bus station and pick one of the popular routes like Seville – Cordoba, Seville – Malaga . You can also check other destinations from Seville at getbybus.com.

Can I exchange money at the airport to pay for my transfer?

Yes, the ATMs and exchange service are located at the first floor, but it would be better to exchange the money before the trip and have some euros on you since the rate will be a lot higher on the spot and no currency other than euro is accepted.

I and my sister will have 2 big luggage with. Is it possible to take the luggage onto the EA bus from the airport?

      Dear Toon,

It’s a city bus line, so there’s no luggage compartment, but I think You should be allowed to bring Your luggage into the bus.

      Best regards!
