Nice Côte d’Azur Airport FAQs

I arrive late at the airport. Will it be a problem for me to get to the city?

Tram operates until 00:15, after that you might consider getting a taxi.

I have an early morning departure from the airport, are there any airport hotels I can stay at?

Of course, Campanille Nice Airport and Notevol Nice Arenas Aeroport are only 800 m away. The prices are not too high, they have free parking lot, free Wi-Fi and 24 hour desk, so don’t hesitate to book a bed there.

I would like to spend one day in Nice in between flights. Is that possible?

Yes, of course. The best way to do so is to take one of the buses which take you directly from the airport to the city centre and are the most convenient way of transportation. If you don’t want to carry your luggage with you all day, simply leave it in the luggage storage at the airport for the price of €14 per item per day. The service is situated at Terminal 2, Arrivals level, ground floor  between A03 & A04 gates and is open every day from 06:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Does Nice Airport have free Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi connection is available in both terminals. The network name is Nice Airport Free Wifi. The use of Wi-Fi requires sign in, but you’re free to use the service as long as you want.

I am continuing my journey outside Nice. Are there any direct lines from the airport to other cities?

Yes,  check some of the most popular bus routes from Nice Airport listed in the table above.

Can I exchange the money at the airport to pay for my transfer?

Yes, there are several exchange offices and ATMs at the airport, working 24/7, but it would be better to exchange the money before the trip and have some euros on you since the rate will be a lot higher on the spot and no currency other than euro is accepted.

İ want to go to sea Side park resort Villeneuve loubet form cote d azure nice AirPort which bus do i have to get on?

    • Melani Grubić Mikulić   •

      Dear Tulunay,

First, you need to walk around 900m from the airport to Nice-Saint Augustin bus stop, then get on 86016 Cannes-la-Bocca train and exit at Gare De Villeneuve-Loubet stop (approx. 13-minute ride). That is the fastest way to get to the resort from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport.

      Best regards!

I have 3 persons who need transport from Nice airport T1 to Theoule sur mer. I find your private transfer price alternative compared with the Express bus to Cannes interesting. Do you know where to obtain more information? Or a Company link? Thanks a million:-). /Per

    • Melani   •

      Dear Per,

The price we put is an approximate price of transfers from Nice Airport, it is not a fixed price of a particular company. Try to find more transfer companies for this area and compare the prices.

      Best regards!

    Hi
Could you please advise the best way to get from the airport to Georges Clemenceau NICE
    Thank you

      Dear Paul,
since recently, there is a tram connection between the airport and the city, and it also passes the Avenue George Clemenceau.

  18. Juliet   •

    hello

I am staying Rue Du Marche (old town) -what is the best route via bus or tram from Nice Airport on Sunday @ 16:30 ?

    • Maja   •

      Dear Juliet,

from this year it will be possible to travel from the airport to the center by tram. Certain parts of the route are said to be open by September. Unfortunately, we don’t have more precise information.
Therefore, the best option is to take one of the local buses which depart from Promenade des Anglais bus stop to the center. Line 70 goes to the Old Town, it departs every 10-15 minutes.

      Best regards,
      Maja, GBB Team
