Beauvais-Tille Airport is an international airport located 85 kilometers north of Paris, near the city of Beauvais.

The airport serves the area around the French capital, and it is mostly used by low-cost airlines like Ryanair, who often mark it as Paris-Beauvais Airport.

Paris Beauvais Airport (Shuttle And More)

Paris-Beauvais Airport is located about 85 kilometers from Paris. However, you don’t have to worry about transportation. There are several transport options from the airport.

Airport Shuttle

There is a shuttle bus providing a connection between the Beauvais-Tillé airport and Paris, more precisely the Pershing car park in Paris – Porte Maillot.

  • A single ticket fee is approximately 17,00€.
  • The journey time is around 1h 15min.
  • The bus stop at the airport is between two terminals.
  • Consult the shuttle timetable

Train

There is no direct train line between the airport and the city.
Instead, you’d have to go to the city of Beauvais, and then take an SNCF/TER train from Beauvais train station to Gare Du Nord station.

  • The ticket price is usually between 13€ and 16€.
  • The journey time is around 1h 20 min.

Taxi

If you prefer quicker and less crowded means of transport, a taxi is the best option for you. Taxis are located just outside Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

However, keep in mind that Beauvais airport is 85km from the center of Paris. Therefore, the ride could be quite expensive. That is, day fare is usually around 170€ and night fare is around 210€.

In addition, Uber and Bolt are also available at the airport.

Car hire

For those of you who would like to explore the area on your own, the best option is to rent a car directly at the airport.

There are several car rental companies at the airport, such as Avis, Europcar, Sixt, Ucar, Hertz and Enterprise.

In addition, you can book your car online (24h in advance) and avoid potential queues at the airport.

Transfer

Another way to travel is with a private, door-to-door transfer from Beauvais Airport to your accommodation. You can pre-book a transfer for a hassle-free experience, a professional driver will wait for you at the airport and take you to your destination.

Renting a bus

Larger groups of passengers should consider renting a bus at the airport. However, it is recommended to book it online, so the bus rental companies have enough time to inform you of the meeting point and all other information.

There are only a few airlines operating at BVA. However, they provide multiple connections to other cities in France as well as the rest of Europe. The most frequent airlines are Wizzair and Ryanair.

Beauvais Airport bus FAQs

I arrive late at the airport. Will it be a problem for me to get to the city?

Well, the airport of Beauvais is 85km from Paris. The only way to reach it is by shuttle bus which departs 25 minutes after the landing of every flight. Another option is to get a taxi, but in that case expect to pay more than 200€ for a one-hour-long drive.

I have an early morning departure from the airport, are there any airport hotels I can stay at?

Yes, the closest hotel is Ibis Budget Beauvais Aéroport, located only a short walk from the airport. Besides that, there is also City Hotel, located only 1.2km from the airport.

I would like to visit Paris in between flights. Is that possible?

Since Paris is almost an hour-and-a-half drive away from the airport, it would be a lottery, especially if you plan to depend on a shuttle bus timetable. If you take a taxi, you can make it, but expect to pay loads of money only for transport.

Can I exchange money at the airport to pay for my transfer?

Yes, you can exchange money at the airport. However, we recommend you bring money with you in order to avoid low currency rates.

I am continuing my journey outside Paris. Are there any direct lines to other destinations?

From the airport no, but after you reach the city centre you can visit many cities in the area.
Check out the following routes: Paris to Nice, Paris to Cannes, Paris to Lyon, Paris to Rennes, Paris to Lille, Paris to Nantes or simply check them out on your own on GetByBus.

        Hello,
What if the flight is late and I have already bought a ticket for departure on the bus at a set time or 25 minutes is not enough time to get to the bus after landing, due to any potential personal delays exiting? Thank you in advance

        • Hi Douglas,

the ticket for the airport bus is valid for 1 year, so you can take any later bus, in case your flight is delayed. The Buses run frequently, so you should not have much waiting time.

    Hi,

My Ryanair flight departs Beauvais at 06:10am. The first shuttle bus from Port Malliot departs at 03:10am, and arrives at 04:25am. Is this enough time to check in my 20KG bag and make the flight?

that should be enough time before the flight.
However, it is hard to tell with certainty. Generally, it is advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight, just in case.

And on Friday we will fly back from Disneyland to BVA at 21:05 o’clock. please which line and time will we depart from Disney? thnx

    • Maja Tramontana

      Hi Linda,

in all cases, the shuttle bus takes you from the airport to Porte Maillot, which is close to the main sights you would probably like to see. But, from Porte Maillot you can switch to a metro line C which takes you directly to the Eiffel Tower.
Regarding your return from Disneyland to BVA, the easiest is to take a bus, take a look here, as here are all the details about the bus line, departures, ticket info and more.

Is there a baggage regulation on the shuttle bus? I have a luggage 28 inch.

    • Maja Tramontana

      Hi,

according to the official terms and conditions provided by the carrier, luggage with a maximum size of 20 cm x 25 cm x 45 cm and a maximum weight of 2 kg can be brought inside the bus.
On the other hand, anything above those dimensions must be stored by the customer-owner in the coach’s luggage compartments. However, the maximum size for the luggage compartments is not stated.
You can always contact the carrier directly to ensure there won’t be any problem with your luggage.

      Best,
      GBB Team

    • Maja Tramontana

      Hi,

to reach your destination, first, you need to take a regular shuttle bus from the airport to Porte Maillot Station in Paris.
From there, you can consider several options. You can either combine metro lines 1 and 2. Or, you can take a bus line 43 instead.

      Best,
      GBB Team
