We are a small team of passionate travelers and writers who live in a beautiful Mediterranean country – Croatia! Besides sharing our love for beautiful places, our main mission is to – make your travel easier.

It all started with a blog post…

What is today known as GetByBus.com and GetByFerry.com – platforms where you can find, compare and book bus, ferry and train tickets with ease – were once only a blog post!

About 20 years ago, an entrepreneur Morten Smalby replaced hyggelig Denmark with sunny Croatia. More precisely, he moved to Split, a Croatian tourist hub. Soon, he started travel blogging about Croatia to help his fellow travelers visiting this country.

Next thing, GetByBus was born and Morten started looking for more like-minded people, travel enthusiasts and passionate writers who would help him in his mission to provide useful and helpful travel information to travelers around the world.

The company was initially founded as a startup, but now consists of over 50 employees.

And the rest is history…
